My nephew bought me the Star Wars trilogy–OK. His mother paid for it. I was thrilled until we sat back and started watching it. I kept having to point out all the changes, the abominations! He did not get my point. sigh…..

You are wrong on so many levels it’s ridiculous. This is a classic TV show and does not need to be touched. It’s not about settling for less. The show was made in the best way possible with the technology of the time. That’s what makes it a timeless classic. I don’t need, nor want, to see enhanced special effects for a classic TV show.

What’s next? Digitally enchancing Fonzie’s water skis to give him a more spectacular jump over the shark? You’ve missed the point completely. This is just another Double-Dip effort from Paramount, and these enchancements will do NOTHING for the episodes. If you are a true Star Trek fan, you will treasure and enjoy them for what they were.
