If they do another “cartoon” trek… one thing is certian the fans mixed oppinions will be its downfall…unless it becomes an instant hit I would guess the show might do 6 to at most 22 episodes given 30 mineut shows.

Quite Frankly… I am waiting for Captain Riker and the USS Titan to continue the future of the star trek franchise.

Time for a new live action series – We don’t need cartoons !….Stick with what works and go with that, DS9 didn’t work but a show about a single ship and it’s adventures seems to be the right vehicle to keep the stories fresh and a way to travel to different locations within the story so if it isn’t broken don’t fix it. Give us a new ship and some 7of9 girls and you will have a hit show. It’s also high time that it was entirely shot in 3D.

This artwork reminds me of the short-lived Stargate animaed series.
How about doing an animated series based on the new JJ Abrams Enterprise and crew? It could fill the gaps between the movies and re-tell some original series stories in the new alternate Star Trek universe.

we need a new series like this : STAR TREK STORIES: each week a different story set in a different place somewhere and sometime in the star trek universe. it would satisfy everyone. we could revisit TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, ENT, movies, and stories could take place in the new JJ Abrams universe as well. It would allow for many many different stories on different planets, ships, stations and settings,and it would also allow for endless cameo and guest star appearances, as each episode would be its own story, taking place in its own period. Its all star trek, and it would work.

i think they should complete ENT series, and not put this cartoon piece of shit up, ENT series had horrible finale and just the moment everyone hoped for, the creation of Federation, episode ended and no one saw shit… i completely hated finale even though ENT series is my favorite… and after all that crap they now land this shit on us… fu*king cartoon… come on, real flash and blood actors would be far better and perhaps to set plot in second half of 24th century, i mean, this is bigger leap then star trek can handle… this series is gonna suck…

i would be intrested watching this we need a new star trek series on tv. it is differant becuse you can reuse same formal that why was star trek enterprise was deid, and i hope it this get made it open the door for live action tv series. this better then have no trek at all

Not interested in the new animated series concept for the web. Let the makers stop to bring this form of animated ST:TNG in the 26th century. It wont works in this kind of concept to redo another animated series. Who do no not a larger butget life action series and try this out if there an concept that the fanbase and new audiance will enjoy?
