Deela is one of my all-time favorite Trek women - if you had to be stuck in time with someone... but Rael would leave a thumbtack on the bathroom floor, and then I'd be "damaged". Oh, well. I'm betting the Eminar VII matte will be a 'riff' on the original, as this one is. Beautiful matte, but I see some blurring at the matte line; thinking it was a feathered matte line and the BG was blurred to simulate camera distance. Hope to feel better on that after viewing. I think the bleakness of it TOTALLY suits the scene (considering everyone is dead)and the fact that the colors look a little under-saturated is due, I'm assuming, to the fact that they are supposedly standing under a very grey sky. Another intersting note - when TOS came out in 66-67 season, only 9% of US households had a color set. It wasn't until 1974 that color sets began to overtake B&W sets.
