#76 — the strafing run the Enterprise does looks quite a bit better when not in a little window, I have a screenshot in the article.

Note to J.J. Abrams: If all else fails, just remake The Doomsday Machine.

But it will be tough to top te Remastered original.

The link’s back up! Looks very promising — still not loving that “strafing run” the Enterprise does, but maybe it will look less video-gamey at full resolution.

I agree with Matt, the PK looks much better than it did in the trailer clip.

i agree with you mike. this is the best fx. i do think it rates right up there with star trek 2 the wrath of khan. this show just scares me and i love it.

simply the best episode. the doomsday machine is just scary as hell. seeing the enterprise going after the devil firing it’s phasers and seeing them just bounce off is even more scary then when the enterprise d firing at the borg. just a tremendous show. wonderfull job to everyone at cbs. gene rodenberry would be proud.

wow!!! i have seen perfection!. the ddm was the most impressive startrek i have seen outside the wrath of khan. this show is right up there with the best fx of the movies. the acton and suspense and drama was all there. im so looking for to the episode of tommorow is yesterday. i can’t wait to see an airforce jet going after the enterprise. the ddm was just incredable and i mean incredable!!!!!.
