Neat ep. Robert Bloch was my favorite author for a year or two in high school, and he sure likes these serial murder stories (_Psycho_, _The Scarf_, _American Gothic_, "Yours Truly, Jack the Ripper"). I don't really go for the supernatural stuff, but, well, that is Bloch's idea of Jack the Ripper.

Oh, come on! As funny as this episode is, I think this is one of the lamest of the original Trek, but they could have still made it worthwhile and done a bit more with this episode's re-mastering.

All we get is a planet face lift. Lame!

I was hoping maybe at least a panorama establishing shot of the foggy city streets they were in, or maybe some additional scenery placed outside the windows of the house so it didn't look so confined. There is a lot they could have done, but no - they cheesed out to save a buck.

They better make Tholian Web a masterpiece!

I never thought I would say this but the CBS-D's Enterprise 1701 is looking better than Eden FX's model for "In a Mirror."

I'm travelling cross country in my motorhome and as usual, I couldn't find a local channel that carried these remastered episodes. Bummer! But luckily I still got my weekly "fix" of TOS watching an original episode on the TV Land channel.

That was a pretty short FX video this week... was that all that changed in this episode?

I can't believe I missed the actor who played AtoZ in this dimension. Sure enough, I looked it up and ZtoA swung and missed.

Thanks to Matt Wright (48) for pointing out my bonehead error... or maybe it was the ale that made me do it...or maybe it was Rejack.

The E looks great in this episode. I think CBS-D has finished their punch list and like everyone else here I hope Paramount retrofits this much improved E back into the episodes they aired in the opening weeks.

Tholian and Immunity should look bangin... I wonder if they'll adopt the tholian ship design from Enterprise.

Thanks for putting up the video Matt. It may only be 40 seconds long but it’s all we've got for the next 2 weeks so I'll lap it up. I have to say the quality of the WMV file is really good and certainly gives me a good idea it will be like when viewed at high quality. It’s a shame they didn’t change the circuitry. I know it might have been hard for the bottom bit that Spock is doing something to I just thought they could have done something with the top and sides of that shot as its really just a border for that shot of Kirk and Spock peering through at the circuits really. The wires at the bottom could have been left alone.

I have to agree with you the Enterprise is looking great. I am already looking forward to seeing what they are going to do next for ” The Tholian Web” and “The Immunity Syndrome”. I am sure you will have a few more people asking for those video’s :O)
