I’m tired of how the only new ships that we get to see are so hard to make out.

EoM didn’t have more than several D-6/D-7 class vessels.

That’s how I think it was squandsered.

It’s kind of fine when they’re on a budget.

But this isn’t the 60s (or TNG 80s) anymore.

I don’t know what some of you guys are getting all worked up over, in regards to the updated effects. In twenty years or less, I guarantee we will be seeing a new version of “Star Trek: Remastered”. This is something that is going to go on and on forever. If you don’t like what you are seeing now, just wait till they do it again in the future. And if you are just not a fan of remastered projects like this, just remember that you always have the originals on DVD on TV that you can still watch.

Personally, I like the Remastered project. There have been a few times where I didn’t like the new effects, but overall, I have been very happy with the changes that I have seen. The classic Enterprise has never looked better in my eyes. This project has injected new life into classic Trek.
