For anyone suggeting WW for the role of Kirk:

WW is already as old as Shatner was when he played Kirk for he first time (Matt “Mild Case of Downs Syndrome” Damon is older). So unless the movie’s going to be a side story or alt-universe, both those guys should be thrown on the shitpile of history. If they’re going to portray “Young James T. Kirk” they need someone age-appropriate. And unless they find an unknown, the pickings out there for worthy actors is pretty slim.

Since I didn’t, I’ll take your word for it that he spewed “hate-filled brew” on his site. But unless he called you or your mama nasty names, it’s my opinion that you let his words get under your skin far too deep.

Yeah, pretty much about Wheaton, I’d say.

I’d like to enter your proposed impersonation contest, Xai, but I do a terrible Kirk and I have no desire to do a Picard impersonation. The less I hear that voice, the better.

And I wouldn’t want to put my mug out there for all to see. Women would be leaving their husbands and I don’t want to be responsible for that.
