I’ve always love the contrasting messages reflected on in each installment of the “trilogy”:

II: Good of the many outweighs good of the few or the one

III: Good of the one might outweigh or be inseparable from the good of the many

IV: Lack of harmony with the natural world may render obsolete considerations of the individual or collective good

This was by far my favorite out of all Trek movies. Whales… wtf? It was GREAT! Heh, it was a retarded concept, but they pulled it off nicely.

Whales destroying the Earth… really… I mean… why? Just… why? Who cares, I liked it.

Because of watching Star Trek I have since lost the ability to form coherant sentences. Thank you Bill Shatner.
