Underrated is a word that comes to mind. As with most of the other casting, I suspect he'll be fine. I maintain my reservations about Karl Urban as McCoy. I just watched a couple of TOS episodes (for the first time) like yesterday, and noticed that Scotty is indeed a bit of the comic relief for the show. Not slap stick for sure, but just his manurisms, etc. I think Peg will work fine. I liked him Shaun of The Dead, but I also liked him in MI:III. If he can pull of both of these well, then maybe, he can pull of trek. Give the man a chance laddy. Hey, I think maybe Simon Peg is appropriate.
