Thanks guys I put a bunch of other panels up if you want to check them out including a cover for a Star Wars Star Trek comic I was working on. I have hundreds of pages in varying states of completion. Still working the kinks out of my rebooted Enterprise. I am open to suggestions. Like dish or no dish. Size ?? Mines about 1100 m. Maybe we can come up with something together. Could be fun. I'll try to find the panel I drew of Spock learning the ways of the force with Luke and Kirk taking out a star destroyer with torpedos.

And if, as some have suggested, it's everything BUT the look of the 'Enterprise' that will be important to the masses...then WHY do we need an overly reimagined 'exterior' too?...

May I echo the comments of #71 Harry Ballz and #73 Star Trackie, but respectfully disagree with #68 Karadon, and point out that the powers that be didn't necessarily need to 'borrow heavily from contemporary Trek' to appeal to a huge new audience that they are trying to entertain...

Not as far as the 'exterior' of the classic 'Enterprise' anyway, as these two marvellous examples of a fairly faithful design by Daniel Broadway and Gabe Koerner prove:

Amen to that Harry!

A BIG thank you to the team at Bad Robot for wanting to make Trek live again and another big thanks to the team for possesing the passion to do it with care.. Even if I end up not liking some of the designs or the story or the casting or whatever, there's no doubting there is a passion and respect for Trek driving this project. And that is something I haven't sensed in Trek for a long long time.

And thanks to Anthony, Matt and all the contributors for making this place THE site to go to for Trek news. Take a bow gents, you've earned it..
