My New Year resolutions are:

1) Some surprise blogs from the folks associated with the new Star Trek movie

2) Buy the second season of Re-mastered TOS HD DVD

3) Watch the new ST movie. If it is great beyond my wildest dream, then I will watch it at least twice times.

4) Lose more weight.

5) My Habs (Montreal Canadiens) win their 25th Stanley Cup. I am sorry, Harry Ballz! :D

Mine is NOT to rip on Englishman Simon Pegg being given the ‘Scotty’ role anymore…as I get the distinct feeling that there will be plenty of other as worrysome elements in this reboot to get steamed about…
Simon Pegg may prove to be the best thing in it! ;)

just remember, a resolution is like having a goal and, as we all know, a goal is simply a dream with a deadline to it! Maybe that helps a bit from one Canuck to another! I’m in Toronto, where are you?

Resolve to see past the differences in the new Trek Movie.
Only then will we get the true Star Trek experience the we hope for.
No other solution is available for the purist Trek fan anyhow.

Perhaps we will be surprised at what J.J. & Co. has i store for us all.
Anyhow there will be the promise of sequels if the movie is a big hit.
Unless we all see this new movie many times we may not have options.
Left for us in the Trek universe. Perhaps Cawley can make a diifference
in 2008.

First things first, everyone. Let’s all get onboard with that resolution!
