#57 – No, ‘oceanic 6′ was not referred to in any way that I picked up.

The ’suit’ in the hospital that came to talk to Hurley and then slipped out was asking if Hurley knew “where they are.” As far as Oceanic 6, I suspect 6 people returned but that the others are still on the island. So I’m not too worried yet….

I should just wait for next week’s flash-forward, eh? Give me a tease to start doubting myself, probably. And then tease me again and then some more — because Lost wasn’t enough a tease already! hehe…

I totally get where you’re coming from. It frustrates me at times too.

But what intrigued me about the flash-fowards was the idea that getting off The Island is turning out to be a very bad idea. Very, very bad, indeed.

I wish we had a full season this year.

Don’t get me wrong, I like teasing and excitement. But to have an entire half of the story dedicated to that… where’s the heart?

The fact that they didn’t build on the story. They were more like teasers than any sort of character development. In other words, the purpose was to specifically excite you for the next episode rather than to add to the story.

Great start for LOST and man let the story unfold! Funny how everyone wants the answers right away. Let the story unfold and enjoy some of the mysteries. Hell real life has plenty of mysteries we don’t always solve or speculate for answers on. Why can’t fiction have some of the same things. Enjoy the journey people! It is like some people I know when I tell them about a movie or show it seems they want the whole thing described to them. Why even watch anything if you want all the details or don’t get the whole story thrown at you all at once. Geez. Oh well LOST and then BATTLESTAR GALACTICA some great TV shows happening now or soon to be!

Oh yes even a cool or I hope it is STAR TREK film at the end of the year. Hey I don’t want many details and I would like a few surprises when I see it on the big screen.;)

I wasn’t extremely impressed with the premiere episode. We’ve been teased with this future time period, and honestly, I want to know to what happened to everyone ASAP. I don’t really feel like being dragged along for a year or two to do so. The better show at 9PM that night was Supernatural, which I Tivo’d and watched at 10.

Just curious: What didn’t you like about the flash-forwards?

I don’t see a whole lot of distinction between flash-forwards and the flashbacks. Same concept, different temporal direction.
