Somehow I am not surprised by Kate Mulgrew's remarks. Seriously what was she supposed to say about Voyager? The show was below expectations and failed to live up to the Star Trek legacy? I just don't picture Mulgrew badmouthing her own show in public.

Otherwise the rest of the articles were okay. Just some quick tidbits about what Trek alum are up to lately. Not bad not outstanding but average.

I don't have any objection to the title "Trek Celeb Stalker" but I can see why some may have a problem with this title.

My suggestion to an alternate title would be: "Trek Celeb Scanner"

The way the article offers short summaries of what is up with Trek alum reminds me of listening to CB radio scanners to hear what is up with police, fire and ambulance runs during the day/night shifts.

Deep Space Nine is way better than Voyager, easily. Mulgrew is crazy.

UGO.com claims that William Shatner may indeed still show up in the new film.

I for one hope so.

Voyager continues to slide downward in my view, while Enterprise continues to notch upward. I never could like the character of Janeway, try as I might. I have finally seen quite a few Enterprise episodes from the last two seasons, and they were excellent. The show deserved the full 7-year Trek series run, imo.

I hope they consider a new Trek series if the new movie is successful. A series set decades after TNG would be great. New ship, new crew. OR put put the novel series Star Trek: New Frontier to the small screen. I have started reading those recently, and am pleasantly surprised. They are good! I always liked the character of Shelby from TNG's Best of Both Worlds, and for those who haven't read New Frontier novels, she is first officer of the ship in that series.

The only Voyager episodes I would ever consider watching again are: 1) The season premiere which was half decent and fresh 2) the episode revisiting the Exelsior and Capt. Sulu 3) the early episode exploring Chakotay's heritage which was very well done.

Other than that, Voyager was bland as can be. I really wanted to like it. But in my mind it was the series that killed the intrigue of the Borg by saturating so many episodes with them that they became uninteresting.

William Shatner - gas bag?

No more so than posters who don't know the person other than manufactured sound bites.

So sad. An interviewer trying to feel a prefabricated story about "snobbish celebs ...".

Trust me, having spent 12 years in journalism I know know first hand how reporters pre-write a story and then search for the quotes to feel in the gaps.

This looks like a classic example of fluff. Reporter doesn't haven't a story so reporter makes up a story. In this case, the reporter doesn't get a story so she tries to salvage her salary by doing story by celbrety snubs her.

She says there is a "fine line between art and 'stuff;." How a bout a "fine line between journalism and crap"?
