Paramount,

I would like the DVD set for Star Trek TOS to be in BluRay. And have side A be the original un-doctored-up full edition and side B be the super-duper-all-the-bells-and-whistles-cool-new-special-effects edition.

I will buy two complete series.

What’s weird is that you can go to veoh.com (http://www.veoh.com/videos/v6258054r7PfQ5cN) and watch it, which seems to be feeding from the CBS site. Go figure.

Has anyone else noticed that the 2nd season episode, “Assignment Earth” is not listed among the episodes to watch at CBS.com?

I wonder if this is just an oversight, or whether they left that episode out on purpose…although I can’t imagine why.

Is anyone not pissed off? I purchased the Remastered Season One – TOS on HD DVD, and bought the player specifically for this…. what do I do now, buy Season One on Blu Ray now?????? Talk about a cash grab… all I can say this is the end of me purchasing Star Trek Video…. what a waste of money….

It looks great and it’s wonderful to get them uncut, but literally it’s 5 seconds of play, 15-20 seconds of nothing, then 5 seconds of play again.

I haven’t been able to download more than a few minutes, and even then it typically plays a few seconds, stops, then plays a few seconds again. But it keeps ending up playing lots of commercials instead.

Yay! I’m a bit disappointed in HD-DVD, I thought they would not surrender so soon.

I join fellow Canadians, and international fans in saying having these shows blocked for us sucks in a big way.

Frustrating for me, because I can look 30 miles and SEE Washington State across the water from where I sit.

Is there any drawback to the dual format hd dvd/blu ray players? I seem to remember hearing something about how they couldn’t handle all of the features of hd dvd discs. Is this true?
