I too am worried that Abraams and his crew will change the look of the ‘Grey Lady’, above all else, Enterprise has been for the longest time a ‘centerpiece’ of the Star Trek universe.

Well, everyone certainly has a lot to say on the subject of the new Trek flick. I unfortunately missed the pics that were apparently leaked from Paramount(as usual they were pulled). I’m concerned that the new movie will, in an effort to make it’s own statement, lose sight as to what Star Trek is(much the way Nemesis did)and how it remains the pinnacle of science fiction!

I don’t know, looks like they’re taking the revised Battlestar approach… dark and dirty realism. If so, I just hope JJAbrams is not going to get credit for “taking a rist on such a new take on sci-fi.”

Ok. It looks like a shuttle at the Starfleet Yards. The uniform is from the future. So Spock got to see the refit and possibly walk with a younger Spock overseeing the refit.
Please no more photos.

The picture with the shuttle in the center was shot with the camera hidden in a book, you see the pages with type on it at the fringes. And it looks like the Images are not from JJ Abrams, they were edited in Photoshop CS2 for “Windows”…

The pix were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD 700 on March 25, the Jacket at 12:04 and the Fueling Gantry Label at 18:32… the one with the workers around the shuttle at 11:35… If wonder if JJ sports a PowerShot these days ;))

one good reason for old school toggles in a more realistic TREK: accessibility for non human species. the overuse of humanoid species and eyebrow prosthesis is the biggest embarrassment of the last ten years of the franchise. maybe they’ll fix that?

Curses! Am I missing the skin-tight uniform shots… there was no rust-coloured anything on the shots i saw, just the worker overalls and that silver jacket… alas, i’m a takei-ist myself
