As for language, this is not a forum for English majors, but Star Trek fans. We all know “Einstein couldn’t spell,” but he did the other stuff quite well.

I am sure that some non-native English speakers are embarrassed to post because of poor spelling or grammar, and if we natives start complaining about it, we’ll miss what they have to say because they’ll simply lurk out of fear.

But I’ll be there, and if nothing else, when that music first hits, I’ll be in heaven.

There are a lot of non-english persons wrinting in forums, just like me. English is a widespread language but sometimes spelling errors arise.

I agree and understand where you’re coming from on that, but there’s also a bunch of people out there who don’t take pride in their writing and do write as if they are too lazy to write something clearly and consisely.

I’m a graduate student and I can’t begin to tell you the amount of papers I’ve seen from other students with no grammer or professional sense of writing. And this is graduate school. It’s disconcerting.

I even get emails sometimes where I have to decode what is being said. And these are from American born, English speaking invividuals.
