Jeff ,you have my best wishes on this role, you've made history more than once now. For those of you who don't know Jeff, he sacrificed quite a few jobs to keep himself open to be able to be in New Voyages, he went without food and electricity quite often to be able to do so. That is dedication folks, plain and simple. As for James his hair IS NOT a toupee, wig or anything but real hair. I've been close enough to it to know. There is only one person who wears a wig on our show and it isn't James. So I don't know who's going on about big wigs because there aren't any big wigs, just one regular wig designed specifically for this person. Everybody else is using their own hair here folks. Jeff Quinns' makeup in TSAMD was done by none other than Academy Award winner Kevin Haney, so if you want to dog the man's makeup you gotta have some really big you know what's to do so. We have kept almost all of Kevin's advice and makeup to help Jeff realize his image of Mr. Spock. Due to his current employment that is the reason he was unable to do Blood and Fire. Good Luck Jeff. Best wishes, Linda

Let's make sure that Mr. Quinn is not easly recognized otherwise it could disrupt the scene all together.

Alot of the people who enjoy criticizing New Voyages are probably ignorant to just how hard it is to make a movie, let alone a good one. In my opinions, the episode "World Enough and Time" is as good as any of the best episodes from the original series, and far better than most episodes done by Paramount since...That says alot considering these people worked for free, while the Paramount productions include the usual union wages, which are usually wasted on drugs and partying. At least the Phase II people work for nothing, making the production from their heart.

I've met Jeff Quinn and he happens to be a really nice guy. He also happens to be a pretty good actor as well. I still don't understand why on this site people can bash away at Shatner, George with the homophobic jokes, and now Jeff but the minute anyone mentions Cawley's very obvious toupee certain people here get all offended & try to claim it's not true - yeah, right! What has that dude got over this site?

I thought Jeff Quinn was great as Spock against James Cawley's Kirk. He certainly looks like what I picture when you say "Vulcan" so I'm not surprised he got the part. He had the advantage of being able to show pictures of himself in Vulcan makeup.

Congrats and good luck with future auditions...!
