There should be a made for tv mine-series movie about the Earth- Romulan war but this time the Captain is Style leading up to the beganning of the war and end just before less than a year away from the signing of the charter to the Federation but also the war should be personal between the Vulcans and Romulans thats been kept secrect form the earth and starfleet
I am wonder if the Klingons get involved in the war as well ?
After all isn’t there new stories about Star Trek that leads up to second half of the 22nd to the early 23 rd century and other ships that can fill the void ?

its good mostly with a slightly confused ending but a great set up for war.I think the thing hes talking about with why the 1701 is more primitive in some ways than the nx 01 is simple.The romulans have new device tele capture which hacks a ships computer and allows them to take over the whole ship.I reckon they have to retro fit the starfleet ship with more primitive isolated non networked stations (ala the pilot of battlestar) to keep the romulans from using thier own ships againt them agian

ANY STAR TREK ENTERPRISE NOVEL THAT GETS PUBLISHED AFTER THE SERIES SHOULD KEEP CHARLES “TRIP” TUCKER III DEAD!! A RELATIONSHIP SHOULD HAPPEN BETWEEN CAPTAIN JONATHAN ARCHER AND COMMANDER T’POL LIKE THE FIRST 2 SEASONS HINTED ON, THE EPISODE “TWILIGHT” AND THE VERY ENDING WITH THE HUG AT THE END OF “THESE ARE THE VOYAGES” NOW THESE WOULD BE A GREAT TYPE OF BOOK AND PLOT TO LOOK AT, I GOT THREE BOOKS IN THE MAKING IN THAT THEME BECAUSE THAT’S HOW I SAW THE SERIES GOING TOWARDS IF YOU LOOK AT IT IN ANOTHER LIGHT.

#53 – The TOS-era novel titled “Kobayashi Maru” was mainly a flashback book of how other officers fared with the test — Sulu and Scotty spring to mind immediately — and the details of Kirk’s “original thinking”. It was written by Julia Ecklar who would go on to become half of the writing duo known as LA Graf.

You can see Ms. Ecklar in the supplemental material for the Star Trek II Director’s Edition DVD.

I haven’t picked up any Trek book sin a while but I just might do that with these new Enterprise books. Yes, I’m among the few that liked Enterprise (there isn’t a Trek series that I don’t like. :) )
