For Bob and Alex:

Are there any direct tie-ins to events which took place in any TOS episodes within your script? For example, any chance of a follow-up to Spock’s “encounter” with the female Romulan Commander in “The Enterprise Incident” or anything else that happened in the original series, or do you think that is too much for non-traditional fans to follow?

In terms of a song, how would you describe the new Star Trek movie as compared to the 1960’s original TV series?

A Cover version?
A Remake?
A Sampled version?
A Re- interpretation?

Some examples of what I mean by the terms.

A Cover version – No Doubt singing ‘It’s My Life’ by Talk Talk

A Remake version – Michael Buble singing the Spiderman 1967 TV Theme
