#83: I don’t know. I have seen Brent Spiner twice at conventions, and of course in many interviews (mainly DVD bonus materials). To me he seems to be a little bit arrogant, but in an acceptable and humorous way. Let’s put it this way: He’s smart, he’s cool, and he has a creative, artistic personality. He knows that and he’s not afraid or too modest to show it. I think a little bit of arrogance is quite OK when it’s backed up by talent and achievement, and that’s the case with Brent Spiner.

#74 – Thankee! With that recommendation, maybe I’ll go ahead and have a look at AGT this weekend.

TNG was the last of the TV series to have the Roddenberry stamp, and it shows. Berman and I differ philosophically and artistically on a lot of things.

I was a loyal viewer of DS9 for the first three seasons or so, despite Avery Brooks’s ham acting. But the whole all-consuming war thing got a bit old, and I got sick of every week being Some Big Shocking Revelation That Will Turn The Universe On Its Ear And make You Question Everything You Ever Knew About The Star Trek Universe™.

Guys, there is not one arrogent bone in Brent-boy’s body. He is the quintessential talented-beyond-words-creative-type-person and possesses a natural sense of comedic timing which, incidentally, serves him well in con settings and seems to make him a favorite with the fans. I had met him before this past weekend and was pleased to be able to hear him speak and meet him once again. A class act – he should also think about doing a comedy CD of some sort.

I don’t know why people are always criticizing Voyager. It didn’t have much of a plot, but once they got rid of Kes, it definately got better. Kes was whiny…

I wish that i find something in insurrection to like, but honestly I can’t. To me it was a huge disappointment of a movie. The story was not that good and the villan in form of a seran wrapped wrinkly F Murry Abraham was pathetic.
