Star Trek Convention Lodging available during the week of the Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas in August 2008.

We have two weeks available in a 1 bedroom vacation suite that sleeps 4 available for rent are August 1-8th 2008 and then August 8-15th 2008. The resort is called Grandview at Las Vegas and is next to the South Point Casino.

This suite has a fully equipped kitchen with full size refrigerator, air conditioning, 2 televisions, DVD, CD player, iron/ironing board, washer & dryer, has 1 king bed and 1 queen sleep sofa, hairdryer, and hot tub jtted roman tub and more.

They just announced Manny Coto’s going to be at Creation in Las Vegas, along with his Enterprise precedecessor Brana Braga. It will be way cool to hear what Coto has to say, and yes I’m interested in what Braga has to say too.

#8: Eric Watts, who runs the TrekTrak, tends to be more efficient than the guys who run the main D*C web page, so I’m not surprised that it went up on the TT page before it went up on the main con page. *laughs*

There’s always a Pocket preview panel Friday night that usually has some big announcements, and the Meet the Pros party Friday night is usually a great opportunity to meet and greet the authors and get their signatures.

As mentioned, we hope to cover as many as possible and that is on the short list for additional ones. Not sure if I can make it but I will try and be sure it gets covered.

I do want people to send in emails who think they can help with con coverage, especially for the out of the way (far away from Los Angeles) ones. And especially ones with Quinto
