SciFi Channel should not only re-air their Special Edition of TOS (with both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy doing seperate stints as hosts of ALL the episodes) but CBS and SciFi ought to come together on releasing all the interview/comments on a DVD release.

As mentioned earlier some of the interviews included several people who passed not long after these were produced (DeForest Kelly and James Doohan just to name a couple). I was able to record most of the William Shatner hosted editions but missed 2 or 3 so it would be great if someone could put this together on DVD. Seems like it would be a no-brainer since they could do two sets--one hosted by the Shat and another hosted by Nimoy! What better way to milk the cash cow?! :)

Spike is nearing the end of DS9 by the look of those episodes, the series is almost over. Like TNG, perhaps once "What You Leave Behind" (DS9 Finale) airs, it will be off Spike? Just speculating...at least it's still on right now.

Regarding #54:
Let me clarify that I appreciate all the effort put into this site. I look forward to checking it out each day. My point was that since the film has been pushed back we went from getting all kinds of information, sneak peeks and updates on things film related....to almost nothing. This has nothing to to with this site, per se, but part of what happens when the marketing machine slams into reverse as they push out the release.
I was commenting on that, not the quality of what Anthony et. al do here.
No offense intended.

Fascinating. To Brad: Sci-Fi Channel is owned by NBC Universal while "Star Trek" is owned by CBS.

84 and 85, I agree that a Star Trek Channel would be great but it is unfortunatly not likely to happen. It certainly will never happen until the new Trek movie is a blockbuster hit. Even still it's not likely and even if it did it would be like pulling teeth to get the cable companies to carry it. Until May 2009 (and the Trek film is a hit, which hopefully it will be), don't expect much support for Trek from the corporate bosses.

I would really like a star trek channel..just think of all the specials that have aired over the years, perhaps even fan films. and commercial breaks full of star trek offers :) one could only hope..Paramount?

Great news that TNG is back on a network.

Slightly off-topic, but TOS (Remastered) was airing on a local station not long ago late nights. I must look for it again.

I hate commercials, but am glad TNG will be back on the air. Seemed strange that it was off to begin with.
