Er, us, the people who you’re expecting to pay to see the movie?? In which case, our reaction really *should* be your concern, matey!

Plus, you’re not handsome enought to be Spock.

And I’m still having trouble imaginging what a film that ‘honours’ the TOS origins, while ‘re-imaginging’ (is that sorthand for ‘trashes canon?) will be like. How can Sulu fight a Romulan in this when no-one had ever seen one until 2266??

We have not seen one official photo or live Footage.
It has been all Little bits of things and not full and clear Pictures.

I hope you like the transformers link, you can all so find The GI Joe full, clear official Pictures on that sie too.

We actually have had set pics from Trek of Starfleet Academy, the inside of a shuttle at a refueling depot, Cho as Sulu fighting a Romulan (?) at a mining facility, Quinto wandering around in Spock make-up and wardrobe, an Orion slave girl walking to the set, the first glimpses of Starfleet personell hidden underneath hooded cloaks, and of course, a glimpse of the bridge from our live chat with the cast and crew on the set while they were filming scenes. If you show up here all the time, you don’t miss much. and I have seen quite a bit, when you think about it. Thanks for the Transformers link.

Sex In The City? I am with you Katie – have nothing but distain for such drivil. Although I must admit to a weakness for So You Think You Can Dance, but only because the kids competing are real dancers with incredible talent, nothing like the other so-called dance shows out there. Real, amazingly gifted choreograhers showing the form of dance in every style imaginable. My favorite show outside of ST.

Hey man, Quinto’s attractive to me to. But I do like having the women around.

Right now, I’ve gotten a taste of being the guy who doesn’t “get” something’s rabid popularity (as a lot of my friends have felt over the years about Trek and my other nerdy pursuits), in the case, it’s the crazy anticipation for Sex and the City. Somehow, I’m not wired to get as jazzed as they are about it….

I know I have been vocal against recasting the original series characters I am wbeginning to warm to this guy. At least they are honouring our Trek but i am really worried its going to be changed drastically from what we know and love to appeal to an audience who does not care for Trek.

Quinto will probably be very good as Spock but he will never own the role. Only Leonard Nimoy IS Spock as Leonard made the role. Dont mean to be rude but you can’t expect after 42 years that these new actors will suddenly be the faces of the Original crew.

Anyway as soon as i see pics I will be happier to know this is the Trek I love and not some hack rewriting it to make his own..
