Star Trek the Exhibition left the San Diego Air & Space Museum in January. It has moved on to the Detroit Science Center. The other half of Star Trek The Exhibition is at the Arizona Science Center. If you want to see it you better hurry, it leaves on May 3rd.

Hi Jenny,

I don’t think it is in San Diego any more (but I may be wrong). I was at the San Diego Air & Space Museum the other week, and they had a really cool Leonardo da Vinci exhibition going on. I didn’t see anything Star Trek related (unless you count real NASA spaceships) – but then, it is a big place, so I may have missed something – ?

In any event, the place was COOL! I am guessing they have a website you could check?

Where is the Star Trek museum or exhibition now (March, 2009)? Is there anywhere in the western states that I can find the museum or exhibition?

Hi all

I am travelling to LA and Las Vegas in march from australia. Could anyone please tell me if the star strek exhibition is still at san diego at that time. If yes how long is it going to stay open? We were going to Vegas to check out the star trek experience but ihas closed down?
:(. I also heard that it is in Pheonix. How far away is this from LA? So bummed that we will miss it all since we are travelling so far to see star trek stuff. My husband is a huge fan. Can anyone help with suggestions?

Jenny, I am wondering if you went to the same place as me. We thought it was amazing. The rest of the museum was a lot of fun, too, and was included in the price. The photos they took of us were not mandatory to buy, and were fun to look at at the end of the exhibition. If you only took half an hour, you must have been doing the place in a run, not stopping to look at anything. We spent an hour in Star Trek, two hours in the rest of the museum, and still didn’t see everything there. We didn’t go for a gift shop, we went to see a fun exhibition – and we were not let down…

With the Vegas experience closed, this is now the ONLY place in the world to see this… and I loved it!

Just went to the exhibit in San Diego and it was cool but also a total rip off. We were through it pretty quickly and then asked to buy pictures at the end (the cheapest costing 22 bucks for one photo!). They didn’t sell any star trek gear, not even a freakin post card or magnet. SO I spent 25 bucks, was in and out in a half an hour and have nothing to remember the experience by. No photos, no cool stuff to buy, nada.

It was really neat to see the costumes and the bridge, but not sure if it was worth the 25 bucks.
