I recall seeing the name D. C. Fontana credited for stories in early 1960s Superman comic books and those were some great stories. Why is that not mentioned here?

DC Fontana may be old, but she can write circles around many of the sci-fi writers in TV today! At least she understands what science fiction is.

Writers like D.C. Fontana is the reason why I love Trek. I think that she and Mike Piller are the greatest of the Trek writers. They made it very human.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to her and the work she has done on Trek. Her remarks on season 3 were right on.

45 – Chekov is also “Pavel” in ‘Day of the Dove’. He’s one of the more extensively bibled secondary characters in TOS.

if I remember in to serve my days on NewVoyages, chekov was having a dream, woke up and thus he was not really dead.

^45. IIRC Chekov was called Pavel by his crazy ex-girlfriend in “The Way To Eden”
