so what they’re saying is, they’re playing the characters not as they were written in the show’s scripts, but the way people remember them now. kirk as a cowboy instead of a bookworm geek, scotty as a brawling drunkard instead of a miracle worker.

He pees inside the house. Does that make any difference?

I don’t know, I’m pretty naive when it comes to this kind of stuff.

He hates my English Springer Spaniel. He gets very hostile.

Oh, and he won’t eat his dry dog food unless I stir in some haggis along with it.

Is this a typical Scottish Terrier, or are they just the unique habits of my dog?

In my opinion, Adam West quite simly IS Batman. Getting some new guy to play him won’t work because the character always belongs to the original actor.

Clearly, Jack Nicholson and Heath Ledger are rubbish compared to the great Cesar Romero. Trying to improve upon perfection is a foolish endeavor. Foolish, I say!

I never realized that there is a Scottish stereotype.

But now that you mention it, my Scottish Terrier rolls his R’s when he Grrrrrrowls.

And he’s drunk half the time.
