Saw the “Day the Earth Stood Still” preview at “Dark Knight”. How can you remake this movie and not put “KLAATU BORADA NIKTO!” in the preview? And they show all sorts of mayhem, when the original movie was about making a point without resorting to violence. My hopes that this remake will be good are somewhere between slim and none.

George Lucas won’t make Indy 5 unless he has a good story? That didn’t stop him with Indiana Jones “We Waited 19 years for THIS? and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

This news roundup is almost certainly the first time “Space: Above and Beyond” and “brilliant” have been used in the same sentence.

I really hate the idea of spin-offs and remakes (except some of course: I like BSG, Dark Knight and Trek) but as for movies made for the cinema:
Dear Hollywood, stop the remake, spin-off and sequel stuff, try to come up with something original!

Regarding Transformers 2 and the lack of Megatron …

Just pull Megatron out of the ocean and have him go nuts again. I can’t believe they tried to convince people he wouldn’t be in the film.
