JJ Abrams will stay true to Trek no doubt, but will infuse action, and new storylines that will blow your minds. He's not a guy who will "ruin" a legendary vision that Rodenberry created. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED, is all I'm saying. Trek has an instiution all to itself. It is holy..a mecca for people who envision the future as Gene saw. No hunger, no wars on Earth, no boundaries, and no greed. Incredible isn't it? To all those "Star Trax" or "Star Trak" haters.... grow up and watch a few epsiodes. We all can learn from this lover of humanity. It took a TV show 40 years ago to bring to the forefront all of the social hangups we as a society were afraid to address. I can't wait for this movie..
