after that brief interuption:
I personaly thik that all those starships look strange, and even the one that reminds me of a soveriegn class is bizzare up-close.

also, the second picture makes me want to ask the question; if you’re a klingon, does that mean you HAVE to attack federation members? And anyway, wasn’t there a peace treaty signed at the end of the dominion war between the romulans, UFP and klingons?

the uniforms also look like those used in TNG, and it seems to me that it’s a bit odd using ‘retro’ uniforms

so, sorry for that little spiel, but I really thought I needed to comment

It does not surprise me that different people have different views on this game.

However, I, for one, will be supporting this game 100% when it arrives, as well as I hope to be able to help with the beta testing process.

Btw, I was 6 people behind the little girl, so I did not get my question answered. Even without my questions, this game looks to be poised to be another great contribution towards the Star Trek universe.

Anthony, tell Jack I think that starship with the doughnut-shaped primary hull is pretty badass. I’ve never been into any of those RPG’s, online or otherwise, but I think I might have to give this one a shot. Just for shits and grins, if nothing else.

Hmmmm…..I don’t know about these gfx. They really look bad. Legacy had better gfx and that’s a 3 year old game!! I know its still early so there will be time to develop these, but so far its pretty bad. Game play looks interesting though.

I’m not really liking the ship designs. Why is it whenever new ships are created for future Treks, they always seem to be weighed down by too much techno junk? To much detailing and parts “glued on” for my taste. I prefer ships that are more streamlined and graceful.

I would like a TOS era online game. The 25th century idea just doesn’t excite me. (I am aware that this is a clever move, because you’re not that constrained by canon in the 25th century, so there’s much more room for development and creativity.)
I’m wondering how well the 25th century will do, now that that the franchise has moved back in time again.

We all know that the gameplay is most important, but the graphics look like they’re six years old. Even Star Wars: Galaxies has better graphics in terms of how the people look.

I’m excited for this game, but I really hope they can make the game look better. Wooden, low-poly characters aren’t going to fly in an MMO world with Age of Conan, EQ2, and Warhammer (unless it’s WoW of course, but that’s a huge exception).
