Saw this movie on the weekend. I thought it was good, although I went into it thinking it would be much funnier. Good story, although a bit cliché.

Sarcasm? I don’t really know what that means. I just wondered if Pegg was into sci fi in real life, or if he’s ever met Doohan’s son. There are the things he should be talking about in interviews, instead of all these plot details he keeps boring us with, and pointless information on how the new Enterprise looks. And if he recreates any more scenes from the film — doing impressions of all his fellow castmembers — I think I will fall asleep.

I think it’s fair to assume #49 Jamie was being sarcastic. By now, anyone visiting this site regularly knows Pegg is a ’sci-fi geek’ and he’s ‘paying tribute to Doohan, not imitating him’.

We’ve heard these talking points so many times its becoming funny.

Jamie , I believe Simon is a trekkie !! From memory , I saw him many years ago when he started acting , and was interviewed on a Brit talk show . And he raved on about being an avid trekkie and having collectibles . Maybe Pascale and Team can check this out sometime ?!!!
