I saw the new trailer last nigh – in Canada; @ 007 film.
It was fantasic – the theather was sold out the first 2 eve shows ; I got in on third show.

The price of admission was worth seeing the new trailer alone.
OMG. HOLY !@!# ; It was fanastic – the crowd audibily and visually reacted to the trailer. There were gasps all over the theather ; comments were flying – all saying – I GOTTA SEE THAT!

It was like seeing the trailers for Star Wars the final film all over again.
For those of you that remember the Wrath of Knan – Star Trek #2 ; my all time favorite – the trailer was like that film in terms of action and drama upped 5 times.

I was on pins and needles – OOO – can’t wait for May 8 2009!!!!

Hi all, just thought that I should let you know that the current UK release of “Quantum Of Solace” doesn’t have the Star Trek XI trailer attached to it, as I have just gotten back from the cinema.

A lot of the chat surrounding the trailer seems to concern the US release of the new Bond film, so maybe after the 14th of November this may change.

Or I may have to bite the bullet and go see Madagascar 2 to see if its attached to that.

My general punt is that there’s pretty much ZERO chance of the Trek trailer being seen in a non-US market first. My guess it that It won’t be attached to QoS when it premieres in the UK or Germany, but will be attached in the States and then make it’s way across the Atlantic after 14 November. UK and European residents will probably have to find another film to see the Trek trailer on the big screen, or catch it online. When it comes to Trek, the USA comes first, like Bond is coming first to the UK. Just my observation/theory.

Yeah, but QUANTUM OF SOLACE starts on October 31st in the UK and November 6th in Germany for example – over two weeks before the theatrical start in the US…

Does it mean that we will see the trailer one week earlier on the right side of the Atlantic or what?

Also I cant see if there trying to bring the old star trek to life with kirk,spock,and other crew from the old series and such,why cant they ever make the ship and bridge closer to what it was,it was dark,black,red on bridge,now in new movie its blue,bright,white.totally different bridge,probably different corridors,engine room etc.etc.so if there bringing the 60’s version back then bring the whole style of the ship.even villians are different………so I guess this is the next next generation star trek.will the real kirk please stand up…………….

I am i trek fan all the way.I hope the wait is worth it to see the movie.I hope they dont hype it up like its the biggest movie of the summer and then not be.like they did with that dumb speed racer movie.

I have no idea if this will be a good movie, but that teaser trailer give sme chills. Literally. That never happens.
