I hope Quinto’s costume is not the one used in the movie.

The insignia is not correct. It should be gold not silver. Then again, perhaps when they became crewmen on the Enterprise it changed?

IIRC, the TOS uniforms have always been two parts; there are a few eps that show this. I seem to remember one with Nimoy pulling down his blue shirt over an obvious black undershirt.
