Not sure why the Orions are green though. Must be the chlorophyll in their skin. Those at the poles get less sun so they are light green but those around the equator are dark evergreen. Red skinned aliens come from planets revolving around red giants - doesn't quite explain Native Americans but it does explain why Earth's yellow-hued Chinese people, who revolve around the yellow sun, have a yellowish pigment to their skin.
