Someone once said, why remake classic movies when you could remake mediocre ones and improve on them? It wouldn't be hard to improve on "Conquest of the Planet of the Apes". Bring it on!

The last three elements I mentioned are all from "Battle" -- a celebration of '70's sci-fi kitsch.

26 - I agree that the first "Apes" movie should be regarded as a stand-alone classic, because it is so when viewed from that perspective.

The sequels became progressively cheesier, but I think the filmmakers did try to stick to the premise of the original in the events between "Conquest" and "Battle" that the human race was dethroned by nuclear annihilation -- thus the charred remains of the former city of "Conquest," the radiation levels detected with Geiger counters, and the cheesy human mutants.

Yes, we are ready for a black Wonder Woman. Thinking a character from a culture styled after mythical Greece should look Greek is soooo backward.

Wesley Snipes as Thor would be good too.

Yesterday, I lamented the idea of Megan Fox as Wonder Woman and called her "trash." Today I find my post was deleted. What the hey?!
