Fascinating.

As I understand, according to the SPOILERS about the new movie

[i.e. stop here if you don't want to be spoiled]

Sulu and some of other Starfleet graduates start off by kicking the crap out of Kirk in a bar room brawl. Then later, Kirk and Sulu end up fighting along side each other to save the day, Kill Bill style.

I wonder if the writers, in pairing these two on screen, were not in fact hinting to the actors who formerly played those roles to STFU and realize that they were always on the same team.

Nuff said.

Heard this today and I’m really puzzled, that I haven’t heard of it earlier: Takei going ‘George of the jungle’ in the british version of ‘I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here’? Did I miss this on this page, or hasn’t it been picked up yet?

According to wikipedia, “by the Letters Patent issued by George VI in 1947, the Governor General must seek the permission of the monarch, via the Prime Minister, before leaving Canada.” I can’t see Shatner ever retiring from show business in Hollywood.

Lol, Shatner would make a great governor general (ooh, alliteration!). The job doesn’t really require much knowledge of politics (it should, but it doesn’t), and he can’t be any worse than the one we’ve got now…

As for having him sing the national anthem for the Habs, BEST IDEA EVER. I’m not a huge hockey fan (but don’t let the other Canadians hear me say that xD), but that would definitely make me tune in.
