Ugh. No one has ever been able to resolve for me why the Borg, if they had a central figurehead/leader in the first place, had to create Locutus to begin with. The Borg themselves said that it was b/c it would make humans easier to assimilate since they lacked a central leader figure (according to BoBW).

And if anyone rolls out time travel as an excuse, I will find you and I will harm you.

But the space battle scenes and the tension between Picard and crew were solid. Spiner was solid, too, and at least he could 'turn off' that ridiculous emotion chip and act more like Data than he did in Generations.

The on-Earth/Cochrane stuff, however...stunk.

And, I LOVE the Ent E. I think she's sleek, powerfull. A beauty. (I love the ships.)

I was three when this movie came out... xD; Needless to say, I've only recently gotten into the whole Star Trek phenomenon.

However, this movie and "Nemesis" were the ones that got me hooked on TNG. 8D I was watching it for the first time on Sci-Fi with my dad, bugging him about who they were going to make "first contact" with. I kept saying, "Is it the Vulcans? Huh? Huh? It's the Vulcans, isn't it. Right? Right?" and he would just smile and shake his head at me.

My first time seeing the Borg, and they are just the /definition/ of awesome. The Borg Queen is just plain... creepy. She sent a shiver up my spine!

And, of course, the "OMG EXTREMELY EPIC" ending. I just thought it was the coolest thing, when Cochrane and the Vulcan first shake hands. I was squealing like a little girl through all that. Such a fantastic movie.

Truly one of the best. I'd put Wrath of Kahn and Undiscovered Country in the "Best of" list also
