Yes, I paid my 20 bucks at the Phoenix exhibit, and here's my take on it: DON'T GO - DON'T GO - DON'T GO!!! WHAT A WASTE OF 20 BUCKS! most of the props are 'replicas', 90% of the models are glitzy silver-coated things that were never used. The advertisements said "Come sit in Capt Kirk's chair". WELL GUESS WHAT??? IT'S A LOUSY REPLICA, not the original, and the sign said "KEEP OFF!!!". Then, to add insult to injury, you can't take any pictures, but they're sure ready to soak you for a pix or two (really cheesy at that). Very little original stuff, and the uniforms on display (behind glass, of course) look too cheaply made to have been worn by anyone. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO RENT THE MOVIE INSTEAD - THIS EXHIBIT SUCKS!!!!

I'm talking about the deeetroit exhibit here, but also noticed in the photo the one in ariz now, about the inaccuracy of the color of the warp core. Pathetic they can't get it right. Just like crappy playmates toys.

I have to agree, and for christ sake, the warp core lights are fking BLUE!!!!!!!!!! NOT white.. where's the screen accuracy gone to these days? Do it RIGHT. It's a insult to true trek fans who keep this industry alive, by recreating the sets and props WRONG. They even BROKE one of the prop rifles barrel that's on display. How cheap do they make these things, and it's a REcreation prop at that!! Of course the originals are locked away or long gone, but come on.. plus I have in authority that they don't have enough space to dedicate to all the stuff they got, so it's still in the basement all boxed up. I feel cheated for my money and if they can't dedicate all the space necessary for the exhibit, then DON'T DO IT.

What a disappointment-Why are you all gushing? Half the stuff is in another city.(Detroit?) And you cant take pic's? That was just pathetic! I guess sellin pic's on the bridge is really profitable, I passed.
Most of the props looked 'super-cheese-moe'. I was imbarassed. I love trek but this was poorly done.McFly

#68 I can tell you that as of yet, Premier Exhibitions has not released a list of cities and dates. Otherwise that would be in this article.

#67 Steve Kelley

Dude! I just bought your magazine last night at Hastings! Awesomely cool! I collect the ships and tech stuff, but I've always had a fondness for all things Trek. I'm just not into the overly kitschy stuff. I haven't seen your book although I know of it. I would love to get more information on the Trek models that have been, are, and may yet be produced. I know that there is a company in Japan that was re-issuing some (?) like the Enterprise C.

And you can give me any of your "spare" ships if you like. You know, to make some space on your shelves. I'm always glad to help.

Great Mag!

It would be nice if you all included a schedule of cities and dates this even will be traveling to.

Good job but a link and dates are VERY necessary!

No use to me w/out dates, please put in an addition.
