O.K. I read through all the messages. All i have to say is Star Trek Phase II is awesome. The whole cast of actors are doing a great job. When i view an webisode and see the familiar bridge, corridors, sickbay….theme music it’s a wonderful gift you are giving to Star Trek fans James. What u and the people who help you are doing is incredible.
We never did get to see the 4th and 5th year of the Enterprise maiden voyage and this just fills in the gaps. I’m looking forward to seeing part 2 of Blood and Fire. I guess we just have to be patient.
Not everyone knows you guys exist. I mentioned it to someone and that person quickly checked it out and was blown away…
Thanks again Mr. Cawley and the rest of this awesome team of yours…Peace and Long Life…

Bobby Rice who is a terrific actor, and a really super person BTW, was appearing in other venues while shooting BaF and other episodes, so it was not practical for him to cut his hair at the time. A truly realistic wig was cost prohibitive so the long hair was the way the producers went.

As for Charles Root… this man puts his all into the Phase 2 production. He does a great job playing Scotty, and the quality of his graphic work is only exceeded by his generous personality. I am honored to call him a friend and colleague.

Jimmy Doohan’s Scottish accent wasn’t any better than Charles’ so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Charles is a great guy, and deserves better than some of the comments made in this thread.

in the trailer it sounds like kirk is saying to checkov:

“You’ve made a big mistake, and there will be consequences.”

Oh and call whatever (I don’t care) but isn’t it a bit… unrealistic to have crew members with long hair? I mean, we are talking about a quasi paramilitary organization here after all. Don’t get me wrong, I have long hair, it’s just I’d expect your average Starfleet officer to get a hair cut. Bones got one as soon as he was back on the Enterprise (TMP).

Anyway, that’s my rant for the day.

I view Cawley and company’s efforts as an honest and legitimate (if not official) continuation of TOS which ended way before it’s time. Sure we have fondness for the original actors – but the stories and the characters are what we truly care about. Keep up the great work folks.

What is it with those deprecating, insulting posts against Phase II and/or particular Phase II actors, anyway? We had a similar issue some weeks ago, at that time James Cawley was the target.
We have seen in this forum that some people are really p***ed about JJ’s upcoming Trek, but that never takes on the form of such personal insults – and that’s good. Why against the Phase II guys, who invest their free time and their own money to produce a non-profit show? I don’t get it!

Mr Cawley and company — please, please, PLEASE make this episode available for download. I can’t sit at my computer watching video for longer than 20 minutes or so, but I am a huge fan and would love to watch the episodes on my tv.

And anyone who thinks that Charles Root is bad — the guy is Jimmy Doohan himself compared to Jack Marshall (the NV Scotty in the pilot).
