It’s so awesome that it’s getting so much hype already! :3 Even Twilight didn’t catch this much media attention, and it’s coming out tomorrow. xD Think how huge the release of Star Trek: XI will be when it DOES come out.

As for the… ” ‘Star Trek gets a sexy makeover in new film with love scenes, motorbikes and hunky stars‘ ” … comment, I’m not complaining. Zachary Quinto is… amazing. And doesn’t look half-bad, either. ;P

Geek is in right now. Some good examples are Iron Man and The Dark Knight from this past year. Iron Man a movie I didn’t think that would do will with the general public, did great. Not bad for a character that is not well known like Superman, Spider-Man or Batman. The Dark Knight is about to cross the billion dollar mark, not bad for a movie franchise that was considered dead more then a decade ago . What they all have in common is that they had a good story but also good actors has well. I love these 2 movies but my girlfriend loves them more then I do. And she is someone that does not like comic book movies or even sci-fi so much. I was upset that Star Trek had its release date changed. But with the extra time Paramount can build up the hype for this movie with mainstream audiences.
