I didn’t realize that I had Biography and stumbled across it when surfing the channel guide – right away I looked for Raw Nerve and recorded the first two installments (it was on very late at night), watched them yesterday and really enjoyed the format and Shatner’s inquisitive hosting. Definitely no fluff interview style, and I appreciate all of the personal insights on the part of Shatner and his guests. Can’t wait to see more!

Shatner looked very uncomfortable in that dumb chair. However, I think his very presence seemed to get both guests talking a lot. There simply aren’t any true one on one interview shows around anymore, other than the shows on PBS. James Lipton is a buffoon.

I am in the middle of the first episode and I’m bored. I put it on pause and decided to surf the web for a bit. Shatner’s style is not working for me, and I’m ready to delete it and the series pass right now. I’ll have to force myself to watch more of it. I can only hope it gets better because I find the Shat a bad interviewer with a phony style. Still, I love me my Shat, but I do not love me this show. Bring back Boston Legal!
