Technically, the UGO article doesn’t say that Singer won’t be involved in a Superman sequel nor that he doesn’t expect to be, just that he doesn’t know what’s going on yet, just as WB doesn’t know what they want to do or even if they want to do another Superman project at all.

So there’s no new news to report on that nonexistent project, that isn’t in preproduction, script stage, greenlit, or, well, anything.

I can’t wait to see what they are going to do with World War Z. The book is great, and so is the audiobook. If you get a chance, give it a listen. It has a pretty interesting cast, including Mark Hamill, Alan Alda, Carl Reiner, Henry Rollins, Rob Reiner, John Turturro, and many more.

If they stick to the book, the Battle of Yonkers is going to be one of the coolest things committed to film EVER.

I really can’t wait to see Tom Welling in the SUPERMAN suit, if that is the big pay off in the end. Hopefully the suit won’t look like the RETURNS suit. If it works, I wouldn’t be suprised if we get him in a Superman movie playing the role. He is who Christopher Reeves wanted in the movies to take the mantle in the first place.

Is Straczynski, totally unaware of what is happening in Zombie media at the moment? Apparently so.
Zombie movies with a narrow focus are ready for a comeback. there have been so many zombie movies what have done “Zombies take over the world” that the idea of a Zombie apocalypses is now just a part of the zombie sub-culture.

38. Enterprise – December 7, 2008
SR was great. Much better than III and IV. People have to remember that those Supes movies got worse and worse as they went on.

I’m not a huge Superman fan, so I don’t have a lot of emotion invested in the character. But I rented SR out of curiosity and was very surprised to find that I liked it quite a bit. This was before I heard it wasn’t well-received by a lot of fans, so it’s not a case of lowered expectations.
