The new star trek film did not seem the same with out the computer having MAJELS voice after forty years i guess like everyone else i thought she would be around for ever. Missed greatly but still living on in the many episodes she did. xxx

Im in the u.k in london when i watched the new star trek film again on skyplayer on 10/7/2010 i was shocked to see that majel barret has died to it brought tears to my eyes she was a lovely lady when she appeared in startek series. may the stars be with you and your husband and to your family i wish with all my heart and love to you all.

I only just found out today.

She was part of my childhood, as I watched TNG almost every night. I’m very sad she has left us, but alas… as someone else said… Goodnight Nurse Chapel.
