Hello Trek fans! I was working on the cityofeastpeoria.com's December website stats, and this was one of the top referring sites for info about the Enterprise float pictured at the top of the page. Here's some additional information about our Enterprise float, part of the East Peoria Festival of Lights:

All of our floats are built by hand by volunteers. The Enterprise was the most complex from an engineering standpoint. The float used to be adorned with mini-lights, but was converted to LED lights several years ago. It is 57 feet long, 22 feet wide and 14 feet tall.

Be sure to come to East Peoria to see the float for yourselves in December 2009, when the Festival of Lights celebrates its 25th year. Or, if you ever choose to have a Star Trek convention in East Peoria sometime other than December, we would consider bringing the Enterprise float out of storage, taking it to your convention location and lighting it!

66. Christine

The fact that she can sit though any number of episodes, speaks volumes for me.

I can't believe all you guys!!! Going after this... "April Eden" chick without even knowing anything about her other than the fact that she's /allegedly/ a Trekkie and... attractive, I guess. Pffft. And I thought people had class. xP

Anyways, #4, that was FANTASTIC!!! I loved it! :3 Such a lovely little take off of the rhyme we all know and love. Found it amusing, as well as /very/ sweet. It was wonderful, really! :D
