Y’know…I find it pathetic when the only Yeoman Rand Doll that even REMOTELY resembles Grace Lee Whitney…is a Barbie.

ALL THE OTHER Rand dolls look…different.

Meanwhile, the NON-Barbie Kirk, Spock, etc., are Often SO well made!

Sigh….

Not a “unisex fanatic,” #90, and not upset with the movie. I just take issue with the idea that it’s somehow MORE sexist to put women in trousers and call them by the same titles as men.

Those 30th Anniversary Barbie & Ken dolls can be had on eBay for a fraction of the $40 price mentioned.

They are inexpensive and plentiful on eBay–as low as 12 or 13 recently including shipping.

Cheap enough to actually play with!

Actually TUM the Royal Navy has for decades worn shorts in hot locations and Scottish Regiments Kilts.
The fact that the movie producers are upsetting the unisex fanatics is a plus.

I am definitely buying these dolls, when they come out, as well as the DC Comics Barbie dolls (Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Black Canary). I’ve already got Skpper as Velma from Scooby-Doo, so these would really add to my set
