It looks like a good year ahead for pocket books (SPOILERS DON’T READ)

I couldn’t put down the Destiny Series, I woke up with it several time cant wait to re-read it in a few months Lol

Columbia has always bugged me since the ships of the line book came-out. Destiny does a good job of explaining what happened.

Although I thought Greater than the Sum was a bit flat in context of Death before dishonour and Destiny its OK, I didn’t think Picard was very Picard like though, but with a child on the way you could believe the pressure the character felt.

Its so good to see a tapestry of really well thought out sory lines involving established and new characters Daxs chief engineer hitting on Laforge was really good and Tuvoks son dieing was heart wrenching & beatiful. You really got a sense of galactic proportions, having the Tholian s talk about The Reach was a really good hint at the Vanguard stories, Talking about the disgraced Enterprise counsellor dieing in the forge on Vulcan was really sweet touch too

Im looking forward to here more about.

Id like more on President banco westwing meets startrek, theres an implied section31 issue there too,

Although myself a new convert to SCE (I know why??, I don’t know either, why it took me so long to read them look on the Brightside ive got a good stock of stories about SCE the NX01 being towed into mars orbit by Da’vinci was a real watershed moment. There was a bugger moment for me though they mention Cpt Gomez 

I’d agree Dax’s ship’s and earlier designs don’t look so good dosnt look like a slipstream equipt ship unless there a voyager esq, geometry “swing-wing thing happening???

I'd Like to see more Elias Vaughn he’s such an interesting character from his Spec Opps work with Harman Jr to DS9 there’s a real feel to him.

I most looking forward to the titan books they’ve been realy good

However point of order ladies and gents? Janeway isn’t dead she’s just gone for coffee with HOT lady Q???

I am really happy that the UK has the same show date for the STARTREK FILM AS US its normally a couple of months, I was serisly thinking of booking a flight

The Romulan war promises to be a good read but I think they should do a mini series on it not likely but a tv movie would be good dream on a.

Yeah, the Voyages of Imagination guide was a lifesaver. Destiny book 1 is still sitting there unread, but we'll get to it. Troublesome Minds, hmm.

Got to say, I'm with the Aventine detractors. If Jabba-the-Hutt was a starship, it would look like the Aventine.

I much prefer the sharper edges and greater dimensions of the more Classic Trek ships. Although, it kind of makes sense knowing he's a designer for Battlestar Galactica. Looks like a Galactica ship with nacelles.

It will take a lot of time and $$$ to keep up with this new "Typhon Pact" plot thread. Probably a good time to return to Classic Trek novels, so I'll probably just pick up Troublesome Minds and call it a year. Still, it's nice to see the world of Trek novels so vivacious.

Nothing from Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens? :-(

At the end of Shatner's latest book, Academy: Collision Course, it says that "Midshipman Kirk will return in 'Trial Run.' " So.....where the heck is it??? I don't bother reading all the other books. Peter David, awesome. Shatner's books, for the most part, awesome. The Garfields (that probably pretty much write Shatner's books but I'm too afraid, as a fan of Shatner, to really want to know the truth)...awesome...

Tried reading other books through out the years and sorry, but most of them don't get why someone would read a book over watching the show. I don't want to know more about the plot of the ongoing Trek universe, I want to get more involved with the characters.

I know many people love Trek for different reasons but that's mine. But in the end, you know what? God bless all Trek fans because it's your spirit and love of the characters and the franchise that keeps it going.

Am a working writer out of LA and have recently began bugging Pocket about my own TOS novel. Wish me luck, as the first few hard core fans to have glimpsed at it have given me some good feed back. Cross your fingers for me!

#103 - apparently they don't make enough money off of you to warrant making those books.

I'm looking forward to all of these, and and will likely buy 95% of them. Non fiction, I have no desire to buy at all.
