I don’t see why sex can’t just be left out of film. Sure, it can be IMPLIED, but SHOWING it??

I prefer the notion of going to the movies as a clean, fun, family pastime, not a frickin’ “Dinner, Movie, and Sex” dating thing for young couples and married couples.

Oh, and in response to Comment #117 – I disagree with your sentiments on sex entirely.

And I think that someone being gay’s one of the worst evils in the world – It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Monogamy and one wife per man marriages are artificial constructs and should be abandoned. Consider that the medieval monks thought it was demons that made people lusty. Now we know that it’s glands, and genetics that determine lust.

Kirk’s girl in every port and port in every girl is NATURAL. He’s just being the man the rest of us wish we could be. Except Wilt Chamberlin. He was all he could be in that department.

How many of you men reading this now are henpecked? How many men are like me and would rather be divorced and alone than give in to a woman? And how many of you cat around like Kirk & Wilt? Or Kobe? Or whoever it is these days?

BTW: Carol & David are not a retcon, but the reason, “Kirk’s Pain” that drives him to be the best Starship captain ever.

He doesnt cat around because he misses Carol and doesn’t feel complete without her, he’s married to his ship because he transfers his unrequited love and absent son to his ship and crew.

That would be like me shagging a bird because I missed my high school sweetheart. I honestly never think about any other woman than the one I’m with at the time.
