Why is Sabretooth so short? Or rather, how did he become so tall in Xmen 1? I hope they explain it… Maybe they will introduce Mister Sinister at the end. I hope so, I’m still hoping that they will do an Xmen 5 featuring the Marauders Massacre!

I’m a John Carpenter fan from way back, and I’m leery about seeing his property diddled with (there are way too many bad remakes and sequels out there already). But, if Ron Moore is scripting a prequel to ‘The Thing’, it may turn out to be pretty interesting, in the same way Carpenter himself reinterpreted the 50’s original (and the source novel). I gotta wrap my mind around that ‘Macready’s brother’ angle – that seems like a pretty shopworn formula. I’ve always wanted to see a sequel that picks up right after that last shot of Mac and Childs, sitting in the middle of their burning Arctic base at night, sharing a bottle of booze and………..waiting.

I think the issue is that it isn’t a successful show anymore. And honestly, with the crappy storylines both ladies have been saddled with these last two seasons, who can blame them for wanting out? I’m sure Hayden would rather do more teeny-bopper fare (from what I’ve read of her statements on the subject).
