The tricorder is shape of the 23rd century model but the style and lighting at the top gives it more of the 24th Century look to it. I love both designs. The props look good and faithful enough although I wish they were more faithful to the originals.

Solid stuff, and it’s always fun how the early toy images always give away something they haven’t yet revealed, because no one remembers we’re in the age of the interwebs where zooming in on a replica of an accessory on a barbie doll is…par for the course. :o)

All you guys judging the movie based on the props — before you’ve even seen it — make me laugh. You have no idea if it’s going to be terrible or not. Why don’t you break out that 100-year-old Scotch, have a shot or two and RELAX because it’s just a movie and just a TV series. That’s what Scotty would do, right? :)

I’m already going to buy a ticket for Iowagirl, should she accept. Any other naysayers want to see the movie for free and THEN form their opinion?
