LOL @ 13!! Mr. Ward, perhaps I’ll try to locate that Ferrengi trader that owes me a few quatloos… ;p I’m gonna start calling around about ordering STT. (because I have access to the net via cellphone only, a three or four year old one to boot, amazon and related sites are unavailable to me.) I’m glad to know it is still out there though. Noirwgio, STT is still in print, so any decent bookstore should be able to order it for you if they don’t have it in stock. Online sellers like Amazon also still have it.

For 200 quatloos, I’ll even get my wife to read it to you over the phone in her sexy radio traffic chick voice.

Your response is greatly appreciated Mr. Mack! I will still be looking for it, and/or ways of attaining a copy with the means available to me. It’s a series I’d like to follow, as TOS and its era are so bold and creative, the foundation of Trek, yet in many ways it’s enigmatic because we only got three years of the show/era. For me, it certainly branches out the feeling I get when I watch TOS, the awe, wonder, humor and drama that each story had, 60s style, yet very deep. And this gripping, new tale set in that period is greatly enjoyable! Thanks again for responding!

#10: Yes, the Vanguard series is serialized, but anything from Summon the Thunder that you’d need to know is recapped in Reap the Whirlwind (though you should still make an effort to pick up book two at some point).

Can someone help? I have finished reading Vanguard book 1 Harbinger… I have book 3 Reap The Whirlwind on the way. But I cannot find or order online (due to limited access) book 2 Summon The Thunder… My question(s) is/are: by skipping book 2, will I miss anything big or necessary? Is the VAN series serialized? Or does book 3 fill in the gaps? I’m reading Excelsior: Forged In Fire now, then will move onto VAN B/3… I really wish I did have access to B/2, but want to know that it won’t be a great tradgedy if I miss it. Thanks!

I love the trek books that have been coming out. Each is unique in it’s own right…I can truly say I have enjoyed each book I have read in the last ten years. Thank you Authors! Your love of writing, and love of trek makes me proud to read your work and be a trekkie!

Gonna love that Aventine. Soooo radically awesome.

Can’t wait to get my hands on a Singual Destiny. :)
