I think it’s great that Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman are on a roll. The fact that Bob, in particular, has spent a good deal of his time mingling with us (and puttin up with a lot of crap, too), shows he’s a decent guy, and I much prefer to see the decent guy achieve success on the basis of his work, rather than some rodent who achieves success by chewing up other people.

Continued success in the future, guys!

I am also happy that one of our own—fellow Star Trek fan Roberto Orci—is faring so well in writing scripts for films so heavily anticipated. Having another one of Bob’s projects keeping Star Trek out of the #1 spot takes some sting out of the notion that Star Trek is #2.

I think the whole point of this post was lost somewhere in the jibber jabber: The Star Trek movie was #2 in the most memorable/most liked out of all the movie commercials. That comes as a pleasant suprise to me.

I may be a day late and several dollars short here, but I thought the first “Transformers” was a fun-filled, action-packed, live-action cartoon. I didn’t expect it to be anything else, and I loved it. Applying these same parameters to T2, I’m really looking forward to it!

89, I wouldn’t expect him to respond to my posts. Either my assessment is wrong (in which case I just insulted him) or my assessment is right (in which case he would be wise to keep quiet if he wants to work with Bay on Transformers 3).
